Unexpected, that is how I’d call what happened this weekend.

I’ve written a couple of “true stories” because i had something cool to share with the eve community and because it’s funny to write. One of them, “the 1 isk hulk” is going incredibly well and one of the readers decided he liked the story so much he wanted to thank me for writing it… and gave me a brand new Anathema.

I want to say “thank to you” because… well… isn’t this a wonderful ship? Just look at the pictures, It’s super cool.

Anyway… i already have an anathema. At first i thought to keep it as a substitute of the first one, in case the original one would be destroyed. But it can cloak like a ninja and i barely use it nowadays so the chances i’d lose it would be close to zero.

Said so I think i’ll share the luck i’ve got and the love of my fan who calls himself “a humble mission runner” and wants to stay anonymous.

So… here comes a competition :D

If you want this neat black beauty you only have to write down an haiku about Eve Online. Anything is ok just keep yourself sticked to the topic and try respect the haiku metric (just consider i’m not a english native speaker so maybe i’m not very good to count the syllables… I’ll be flexible).

My graphics are really dying and I don’t know what’s causing it.

Sometimes driver problems do this. Update them?

Issue is I have reverted, done clean install of graphics drivers etc. It just keep getting worse.

Either your EVE installation files are corrupted, or something is wrong with your graphics card. Try reinstalling EVE. Also, check your other games for graphical anomalies.

Planetside 2 has been having significant anomalies as well.

I have some problems too recently. Which is strange since i have never ever got anything like this. I usually start to fly into the “plaid zone” after i undock from a station with a lot of people outside. Sometimes, instead, all is ok but the transition between the inside and the outside is hard because the monitor freezes and there is a “phiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii” sound for a few seconds. Not quite sure if it is because of the graphic card (with other games all is smooth and clean) or because some corrupted files or the last patch…

Being Amarr I am in doubt now. I have to reinstall everything or just call an exorcist?

Crazy fuel block time...

In the last two weeks the cost of every fuel blocks has skyrocketed.

The Amarr fuel blocks started from a low 12,100 isk per unit (quite low honestly because the average price has always been around 12,800 isk per unit) and now it is sold around 19,000 isk per unit… even if i have seen prices beyond 20,000 isk.

All because “soon” there static ice belts will disappear and so people is… honestly i don’t know what they’re trying to do. Maybe stockpiling ice products like Isotopes and such?

I had some orders to buy almost 5 milions of Helium Isotopes at 361 ISK… and the price has risen till 699 isk per unit. Just… wow :D

Now… i had almost 800,000 units of amarr fuel blocks i produced at the price of 10,900 isk each and the mark up i got has been around… 70% O_________o.

Even the retriever’s affair is nothing compared to this.

What worries me is that after Odissey will land on our machines all of this will exploded like a soap bubble and the fuel block won’t be interesting for months…

By the way there are two interesting things about this message.

The first one is that you can easily check where the CCP Games has its home… and those are two nice systems with no jump gates. Cool, isn’t it? Just to say.. the Jove Empire has gates, they only miss the connection to the rest of New Eden. Instead the Polaris System and RU-97T are lonely islands. I suppose they use the teleport to arrive there.

The second one is a suggestion i give to CCP. Please, when you make a link in an eve-mail.. and that link goes straight to your site… don’t ask me to login again :\ I’m already logged in the game, i’ve already chosen the character so please, try to find a way that i can vote using the eve online browser without the need to log in for the second time.

I’ve written a second story.

This “adventure” happened a couple of years ago when i was a corpmate of the NeoCortex Industry. A null sec corporation that had its home in the middle of the Drone Region.

I think it’s a quite common story, it’s all fun and games till someone shoot a ship, then you gotta run for your life (or better your stuff since you’re supposed to be immortal.
